Event transport is for companies, organisations and event organisers who want their guests to move as planned and without queuing. We drive transport for conferences, seminars, celebrations, trade fairs and sports events in Lahti, Helsinki, Hämeenlinna and elsewhere in Uusimaa and Häme. A typical assignment is a shuttle between the hotel and the Sibelius Hall, guest pick-ups from Helsinki-Vantaa or the Lahti travel centre, and rides home at the end of the evening.
The fleet includes VIP-equipped Volkswagen Crafter minivan taxis for eight passengers, premium cars such as the Mercedes-Benz E and GLE, BMW 5 Series and Tesla Model S, and wheelchair-accessible vehicles for guests who use a wheelchair. Larger groups travel in several minivan taxis leaving from the same point, staggered or all at once. Our drivers are our own employees and dress according to the occasion.
The price is based on the number of hours, the number and type of vehicles, kilometres driven and the time of day. For a whole event we give one total price that includes the drivers waiting at the agreed location. The invoice can be split by cost centre or participant group. You usually get a quote the same working day once you tell us the schedule, the number of people and the addresses.

Shuttles between the hotel and the venue
The shuttle runs to an agreed timetable or as a continuous loop. Vehicles are marked as agreed, and the driver knows the guests' names or group codes.

A temporary taxi rank at your event
When an event has hundreds of participants, queuing for a taxi at the end of the evening is often what guests remember. A temporary taxi rank solves this: an agreed number of vehicles is at an agreed location at an agreed time, and the drivers take guests as they leave. The vehicles loop where needed and return to the rank until the last guest has been driven.
The event has one contact person from us. They are reachable throughout the event, direct the vehicles on site and react if the schedule slips or the number of participants changes. The organiser does not need to call individual drivers. A taxi rank suits company parties, galas, sports events and large meetings.
Guest pick-ups from the airport and railway stations
- Meet-and-greet at Helsinki-Vantaa with a name sign in the arrivals hall; the driver tracks the flight and moves the pick-up time if needed.
- Pick-ups from the Lahti travel centre, the railway stations of Hämeenlinna, Hyvinkää and Riihimäki, and Helsinki Central Station.
- The guest list and arrival times are sent to us in advance, and the driver identifies guests from the list.
- International guests: drivers serve in English, and the vehicle details are sent to the guest before arrival.
- Return transport to the airport or station on the same booking once the event ends.

Schedule
Tell us the programme: arrivals, transfers, the evening event and the finishing time. We size vehicles and drivers to the schedule.

Number of people and addresses
The number of participants, the hotels, the venue and any areas for rides home. From these we derive the number of vehicles and the routes.

Contact person
We name a contact person for the event who is reachable throughout and directs the vehicles on site.

Contingency plan
We agree what happens if the schedule slips, a flight is delayed or there are more participants than expected. Spare vehicles come from our own fleet.

The price of event transport is based on the number of hours, the number and type of vehicles, kilometres and the time of day. For a whole event we give one total price that includes the drivers waiting at the agreed location. Prices for companies are quoted excluding VAT.

How much does event transport cost?
The price is based on the number of hours, the number and type of vehicles, kilometres driven and the time of day. A shuttle is usually priced by the hour and individual pick-ups at a fixed price, and for a whole event we can give one total price. Send us the programme and the number of people and we will calculate the price the same working day.
How many people can you carry at once?
One minivan taxi carries eight passengers, and our fleet has more than 30 vehicles. Larger groups travel in several minivan taxis leaving from the same point at once or staggered. For an event with hundreds of participants the most practical solution is a continuous shuttle loop or a taxi rank where vehicles return to collect the next guests.
Can the drivers stay on site for the whole event?
Yes. For an agreed number of hours the vehicle and driver are at your disposal at the venue, and waiting is included in the price. This suits occasions where guests move between several locations during the day or leave at different times. For long events drivers work in shifts so that driving stays safe.
Do you also handle events that end at night?
Yes, when the transport is booked in advance. Galas and parties often end after midnight, and the vehicles are then in place as agreed. Rides home are driven to an agreed area, and our contact person directs departures on site. The night-time price is confirmed in the quote.
Can the invoice be split by cost centre?
Yes. The invoice can be split by cost centre, department or participant group as agreed, for example speakers' transport separately from staff transport. Tell us in the request for quotation which references the invoice needs, and we set up the invoicing before the event.
