We are hiring taxi drivers for part-time and permanent roles in the Lahti region and Uusimaa. No previous experience needed — we train you ourselves and help you obtain the taxi driver's licence.

Sort out the licence
The taxi driver's licence is granted by Traficom. If you do not have one yet, we advise you on preparing for the test and filing the application.

Training
Our five-part programme is completed before the first shift: vehicles, booking systems, customer service, accessible transport and practical driving.

Start working
We agree the hours and the terms of employment and you start driving. As an established employer we offer benefits such as free gym access with EasyFit Laune.
The taxi driver's licence
Professional passenger transport requires a taxi driver's licence, granted by Traficom. It requires a category B driving licence held for at least a year, a passed taxi driver test, a medical certificate and a clean record. The licence is valid for five years at a time.
- A category B licence held for at least one year
- A passed taxi driver test
- A medical certificate to group 2 requirements
- Sufficient Finnish for customer service
- The licence is applied for from Traficom — we guide you through it

Frequently asked questions
Do I need to have the taxi driver's licence already?
Not necessarily. If you do not have one yet, we advise you on preparing for the test and filing the application. The licence is granted by Traficom and requires a category B licence held for at least a year and a passed taxi driver test.
Can I drive part-time or as gig work?
Yes. Some of our drivers work alongside studies or another job, others permanently. Hours are agreed together, and weekends and evenings often suit part-time work well.
Do I need previous experience in the taxi business?
No. Our five-part training programme is built so that you can join without previous experience, and many of our drivers changed careers.
Where is the work available?
Mainly in Lahti and the rest of Päijät-Häme as well as Uusimaa. Tell us in your message which area you are looking for shifts in.
