A driver and vehicle at your disposal for an hour, a day or a whole route. We run charters with wheelchair-accessible minivans across Uusimaa, Kanta-Häme and Päijät-Häme.
Charter transport means a vehicle and driver are reserved for your group for an agreed time and route: a company away day, a team's away match, a school trip or moving wedding guests to the venue. The difference from an ordinary taxi ride is that the driver waits, drives several legs and stays with the group for the whole agreed period. We serve Helsinki, Espoo, Vantaa, Lahti, Hämeenlinna, Hyvinkää, Riihimäki and Heinola, and by arrangement elsewhere in Finland.
Charters are driven with Mercedes-Benz Sprinter and Volkswagen Crafter minivans seating eight passengers, and with the Crafter VIP for executive use. We do not run minibuses for more than eight, so larger groups travel in two or three vehicles at the same time. Every minivan has a wheelchair space, and our drivers are our own employees, so the same driver stays with you all day.
The price of a charter depends on time, route and waiting: short transfers are priced by route, full-day charters by the hour or the day. Weekday or weekend and the number of vehicles also matter. We do not publish a price list; instead we calculate a total price for each charter, which you usually receive the same working day with no obligation.

Fleet and group sizes
Charters are driven with accessible minivans. This is how vehicles are matched to group size.
- 1 to 8 passengers: one Sprinter or Crafter. Everyone has their own seat and belt, and bags and kit go in the luggage compartment.
- 9 to 16 passengers: two minivans leaving from the same place at the same time and driving the same route in convoy.
- 17 to 24 passengers: three minivans. The drivers coordinate breaks and stops between themselves, so the group stays together.
- Wheelchair users: fit in any of our vehicles via lift or ramp, with no need to order an accessible vehicle separately.
- Executive use: the Volkswagen Crafter VIP with more comfortable seats and a quieter cabin when guests or management are on board.
How a charter is priced
Charter pricing follows three models. An hourly rate suits short charters where the vehicle and driver are needed for a few hours, for example a city tour for guests or transfers within an event. A daily rate suits full-day excursions and away matches with many kilometres but also waiting. A route price suits charters where the group is taken from A to B and collected at an agreed time.
Waiting time is always agreed in advance. If the driver waits during a match, concert or meeting, it is included in the price and the group does not need to book a return separately. For multi-vehicle charters the price is given as one total rather than per vehicle, so comparison is easy. Business prices are quoted excluding VAT; passenger transport carries 14 % VAT.
Popular charter routes
Helsinki to Lahti
The most common route for companies and clubs. In Lahti: Sibelius Hall, Isku Areena and the Sports Centre; in Helsinki: Messukeskus and the harbours. Roughly an hour and a quarter.
Lahti to Helsinki-Vantaa Airport
About 110 km, 60 to 90 minutes. The group and its luggage in one vehicle, larger groups in two vehicles leaving together.
Hämeenlinna to Helsinki
From Verkatehdas or the railway station to the capital, about 100 km, and 70 to 90 minutes to the airport. Suits meeting days and events.
Hyvinkää to Helsinki
A short transfer, about 45 km and 35 to 45 minutes to the airport. From Riihimäki about 60 km and 45 to 60 minutes.
Charter or minivan taxi
A minivan taxi is a single ride from one place to another: the group gets in, the driver takes them there, and the ride ends. A charter is a service lasting an agreed time, where the same vehicle and driver stay with the group throughout, even while the vehicle sits in a car park waiting. The difference shows in pricing: a minivan taxi is priced by route, a charter by time or by day.
Choose a minivan taxi when you need a ride to the airport, a station or a venue and the return is uncertain or much later. Choose a charter when the day includes several legs, waiting, or a return straight after the event. If you are unsure, describe the day in your quote request and we will suggest the cheaper option.
Driver breaks on long days
On a full-day charter the driver is working for the whole agreed period, including while waiting. For long days and long routes we plan the driver's breaks at the planning stage: stops are built into the route, and for very long days a driver change can be arranged. This matters when a charter starts early in the morning and returns late at night, for example on a tournament day in another town.
Give us the whole day's schedule in your quote request, not just departure and return times. That way we can plan breaks to coincide with the group's own breaks so the timetable does not slip. Our drivers are our own staff, so cover and changeovers are handled on our side.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a charter cost?
The price depends on duration, route, waiting time and the number of vehicles needed, so it is always calculated case by case. A few hours' charter is priced hourly, a full day at a daily rate and a simple return trip at a route price. Give us the day's schedule in your quote request and you will usually have a total price the same working day.
Do you have a minibus for more than 8 people?
No. The largest vehicles in our fleet are minivans seating eight passengers. Groups larger than eight travel in two or three minivans that leave at the same time and drive the same route. This works well up to 24 people, with the advantage that return rides can be staggered if needed and an accessible vehicle is always part of the convoy.
Can the driver wait during the event?
Yes. Waiting is a normal part of a charter: the driver stays for the match, concert or meeting and brings the group back as soon as it ends. Waiting time is agreed and priced in advance, so there are no surprises. If the event lasts several hours, we compare whether waiting or a separate return ride is cheaper.
Can we eat or drink in the vehicle?
Light snacks and non-alcoholic drinks are fine as long as the vehicle stays clean. Alcohol and party use are agreed with the driver in advance, and a cleaning charge may apply if the vehicle needs separate cleaning afterwards. On long trips we plan breaks into the route so the group can eat in peace.
Is an accessible vehicle possible?
Yes, all our minivans are wheelchair-accessible. Every Sprinter and Crafter has a wheelchair space with a lift or ramp and wheelchair restraints, so a passenger using a wheelchair travels in the same vehicle as the rest of the group. Mention the wheelchair and its dimensions in your quote request so we reserve a suitable vehicle and enough time.
How far in advance should a charter be booked?
A full-day charter is best booked at least a week ahead, and a multi-vehicle charter preferably two weeks ahead, so vehicles and drivers are free. Short transfers are often possible with a few days' notice. Always ask, even at short notice: vehicles are often available, and you usually get a quote the same working day.
