Our service area covers three regions: Uusimaa, Kanta-Häme and Päijät-Häme. In practice we drive daily in Helsinki, Espoo, Vantaa, Lahti, Hämeenlinna, Hyvinkää, Riihimäki and Heinola, and on the trunk routes between them. The services are the same in every city: distribution rounds, van with driver, courier and express deliveries, refrigerated transport, pharmaceutical transport and subcontracting for other transport companies. The fleet has more than 30 vehicles from vans to an 18-tonne lorry, and the drivers are our own employees.
There are two depots. The Helsinki depot is at Ormuspellontie 20 in Malmi, with quick access via Ring I and the Lahti motorway to the city centre, the harbours and the airport area. The Lahti depot at Asentajankatu 1 serves Päijät-Häme and part of Kanta-Häme. Between cities, vehicles go where the work is: one contract can cover distribution in Helsinki and collections in Lahti, so you do not need a different partner for each city.
The price is based on the route, time, vehicle size and volume, not on which city the work is in. The starting point affects the positioning leg: work within Helsinki starts from Malmi, Päijät-Häme work from Lahti, and jobs in Hämeenlinna, Hyvinkää and Riihimäki are run from whichever depot is closer. Transport services in Helsinki
Our Helsinki depot is in Malmi on Ormuspellontie, close to Ring I and the Lahti motorway. From there the city centre is about 20 to 30 minutes away, Vuosaari Harbour about 20 minutes, and West Harbour or the Messukeskus exhibition centre in Pasila 25 to 35 minutes depending on traffic. Typical Helsinki customers are wholesalers and importers needing daily distribution to shops and restaurants, offices moving equipment and furniture between premises, and exhibition and event organisers whose materials we deliver to Messukeskus at an agreed time.
For city-centre work a van or a box van is the best fit, as it gets onto loading bays and into car parks. Container collections at the harbours and terminal transfers are run with a 7.5-tonne or 18-tonne lorry with a tail lift. For pharmaceutical transport, the Helsinki depot is the base for the FLF-Pharma on-call service, from which emergency runs leave around the clock to hospitals and pharmacies.
Espoo and Vantaa
In Vantaa the work centres on Aviapolis and the Helsinki-Vantaa Airport area, home to many wholesalers, logistics centres and air-freight terminals. Aviapolis is about 15 to 20 minutes from Malmi, so an air-freight collection or delivery to a terminal can be arranged at short notice. Vantaa customers are typically logistics centres for which we run distribution or trunk routes as a subcontractor, and companies whose warehouse is in Vantaa and whose customers are around the capital region.
Espoo is 30 to 45 minutes from Malmi along Ring I, depending on destination and traffic. In Espoo we move technology companies' equipment and office furniture in premises moves, laboratory samples, and scheduled rounds to care homes and nurseries. For work within the capital region a van is usually the right choice, and larger batches go by lorry with a tail lift for palletised goods.
Lahti and Päijät-Häme
Our Lahti depot is at Asentajankatu 1 and handles transport across Päijät-Häme: Lahti, Hollola, Heinola and Orimattila, as well as the Vierumäki area. From Lahti to the Helsinki depot in Malmi is about 60 to 75 minutes along the Lahti motorway, so the Lahti to Helsinki trunk route is often run in the same morning with the vehicle continuing to distribution in the capital region. Hollola is about 15 minutes away, Heinola about 30 minutes and Orimattila about 25 minutes.
Customers in the Lahti area include manufacturers and food companies needing transfers between production and warehouse, care homes and central kitchens for meal distribution, and event organisers whose materials we deliver to the Sibelius Hall, Isku Arena, Lahti Hall or the Sports Centre, for example during the Lahti Ski Games. Refrigerated and pharmaceutical transport to pharmacies and health centres across Päijät-Häme leaves from the Lahti depot with the same vehicles and training as from Helsinki.
Hämeenlinna and Kanta-Häme
We have no depot of our own in Hämeenlinna, but the city lies on Highway 3 about an hour's drive from the Helsinki depot and about 70 minutes from Lahti. Kanta-Häme jobs are run from whichever depot is closer, and on scheduled rounds a vehicle can stay in the Hämeenlinna area from morning to evening. Riihimäki is about 45 to 55 minutes from Malmi and Hyvinkää about 35 to 45 minutes, so these towns are usually served from Helsinki.
In Hämeenlinna, transport is ordered for example by events at Verkatehdas and Aulanko, city-centre shops and manufacturers in Janakkala. In Riihimäki our customers include businesses around the garrison and the railway station; in Hyvinkää, manufacturers and wholesalers whose goods we carry to the capital region. On Kanta-Häme routes a van covers most distribution, and palletised goods go on the 7.5-tonne electric lorry or the 18-tonne lorry.

How to order

Give the pickup and delivery points, time windows and type of goods. From these we choose the starting depot and the vehicle.

The quote usually arrives the same working day, as a one-off charge, a route price or a contract price.

Confirmation and schedule
We agree the timing. A single run is often possible the same or next day; a scheduled round within a couple of weeks.

Transport and invoicing
The driver handles collection and handover with signatures. Contract customers receive one consolidated invoice a month.
Pricing
The price is based on the route, time, vehicle size and volume. The city does not raise the price, but the starting depot affects the positioning leg, so we always calculate it from the nearest depot.
One-off charge
Single runs and urgent collections in any city in our service area.
Route price
Recurring rounds at a fixed price per route, for example Lahti to Helsinki every morning.
Contract price
Ongoing cooperation across several cities, a named regular driver and monthly invoicing.

Frequently asked questions
Do you run from Helsinki to Lahti under the same contract?
Yes. One contract can cover transport across the whole service area, for example distribution in Helsinki and collections in Lahti, or a daily Lahti to Helsinki trunk route. Both cities have a depot, so the vehicle leaves from whichever is closer, and everything is consolidated on one monthly invoice.
Do you have a depot in Hämeenlinna as well?
No. Our depots are in Malmi, Helsinki and on Asentajankatu in Lahti, but our vehicles work across the whole of Kanta-Häme. Hämeenlinna is about an hour from Helsinki and about 70 minutes from Lahti, and on scheduled rounds a vehicle can stay in the Hämeenlinna area all day. The price is calculated from the closer depot.
Which is the nearest depot for Hyvinkää?
The Helsinki depot in Malmi. Hyvinkää is about 35 to 45 minutes from Malmi and Riihimäki about 45 to 55 minutes, so both towns are usually served from Helsinki. If the job continues towards Hämeenlinna or Lahti, the vehicle can also start from Lahti.
Do you drive outside the service area?
Yes, by arrangement. Our regular service area is Uusimaa, Kanta-Häme and Päijät-Häme, but longer transfers elsewhere in Finland, for example to Tampere or Turku, are handled as separately agreed jobs. State the destination and the amount of goods in your request and we will assess the route and the price.
How quickly can a vehicle be in Vantaa?
From Malmi to Aviapolis and the airport area takes about 15 to 20 minutes, and to other parts of Vantaa 15 to 30 minutes depending on traffic. For an urgent collection a free vehicle leaves immediately, and for pharmaceutical emergency transport pickup in southern Finland takes on average under 30 minutes.
Which vehicle suits urban distribution?
Most urban distribution suits a van or a box van that fits onto loading bays and into car parks. For palletised goods and larger batches we use the 7.5-tonne fully electric lorry or the 18-tonne lorry, both with a tail lift. We choose the vehicle according to the goods and the destination at the quotation stage.
